She began her acting career with Lisa’s role in the film The Unborn in 2009, and she played Samantha’s role in the television series Mercy in 2010. Brosnahan portrayed Jolene Parker Lucy Brooks’s role in the television series The Blacklist in 2014, and she also starred as Erin in the movie Louder Than Bombs in 2015. She appeared as Jessica Kensky in the movie Patriots Day in 2016.

She also enrolled at Highland Park High School in Illinois, and she graduated from Wilmette’s Actors Training Center in Illinois. She also went to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
